MontenegroMFT specializes in treating trauma, first responders, healthcare professions and maternal wellbeing through the use of Brainspotting. Additionally used approach modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Clinical Hypnotherapy in order to offer a highly personalized approach which is always tailored to each individual client's needs.

MontenegroMFT’s therapeutic approach is to provide unconditional support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges at work, home and/or school.

Allow us to assist you on an individual, family, or couple to address some of life's curveballs such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, phase of life issues, intimate partner difficulties, divorce, coping with separation, grief and loss, professional burn-out, vicarious trauma, PTSD, nurture change, build resilience and develop a more balanced living lifestyle.

We belief that regardless of the origin of the problem, and regardless of whether you consider it an "individual" or "family" issue, together, we can explore and achieve the deepest levels of healing, self-understanding to reach greater empathy, deeper connections, and growth. 

Immigration Psychological Evaluations

If you are an individual who is currently in immigration proceedings in the United States, you may benefit from an immigration psychological evaluation. An immigration psychological evaluation can add tremendous value to your immigration case as it examines the psychological impact of trauma that may have occurred in your native country and may furthermore occur if you were to return to your native country.

The psychological evaluation can be a powerful piece of evidence to demonstrate and support the extreme hardship that qualifying relatives may suffer if he or she is separated from the applicant.
